Madonna: the trend setter in the fragrance industry

| Celebrity fragrances are always a hot favorite with the followers. Over the years, the beauty industry has been over flooded with olfactory offerings from famous personalities of various fields, including models and film stars to name a few.
The outcome though has been a bad one with an unfortunate turn from quality to quantity. But the trend is all set to change with Madonna’s “Truth or Dare” fragrance launch in the celebrity fragrance market. The remarkable difference in this case is the change in launch strategies in terms of marketing campaigns and focusing on the fragrance, rather than the celebrity status. Madonna’s fascination and talent for picking the perfect perfume notes is well known and she has done her every bit to see that the end product is exactly the way she wanted and the result. Simply wow! The inspiration for the final bottle design is unusual as well. A tiny silver case in which she used to carry the tester vials while working on the production. |
