Many celebrities feel concerned about the Japanese earthquake. Lady Gaga is the one who has responded the most quickly by selling on her official website a bracelet that reads "We pray for Japan." She invites her fans to buy it for $ 5 or more. The funds raised will be used to rebuild the country. Charlie Sheen will donate one dollar to the Red Cross for each ticket (costing $ 69) sold for his new one-man show. His first two dates in Detroit and Chicago were sold-out in 18 minutes, according to TMZ. Several stars have used Twitter to encourage their fans to support the earthquake victims. Chris Brown, P. Diddy and Dita Von Teese have relayed an explanation of how to donate to the Red Cross, by texting. Over the weekend testimonials and other prayers were shared on social websites."Japan is one of my favorite countries” wrote Justin Bieber on his Twitter. "My heart is broken for Japan. I woke up this morning with a song in my heart" said Alicia Keys. Lindsay Lohan posted on Twitter "May God protects those who are afraid." Paris Hilton has also expressed her emotions: "The images on the news broke my heart. I am so worried about everyone in Japan. My thoughts are with you, Japan. God bless you all. " |
