Bugatti was founded 1909 by Ettore Bugatti, an Italian immigrant described as an eccentric genius, in Molsheim, Alsatia then Germany, now France to manufacture high-performance automobiles. The original company is legendary for producing some of the most exclusive and some of the fastest carsin the world.

The name is now the property of Volkswagen Group, which revived it in 2000 as a builder of limited-production exclusive sports cars.

The car’s inspiration was drawn from jet-fighter aircraft and the celebrated Sauber-Mercedes Silver Arrow Group C cars. Shelby SuperCars is an American automobile manufacturer founded by owner Jerod Shelby in 1999. The company is based in West Richland, near Tri-Cities, Washington, and specializes in buildingsupercars.

Koenigsegg Automotive AB is a manufacturer of high-performance sports cars based in Ängelholm, Sweden. It was founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg, who was determined to create a world class Swedish supercar. Many years of experimentation and prototype building resulted in the delivery to its proud owner of the company’s first production road car in 2002.
