Kung Fu Panda 2 : Kung Fu Panda 2, released in 2011, is a hilarious and highly entertaining movie, which carries actions stunts that can make audience roll on the floor and laugh. It is 3D American and computer- animated action comedy film, which was directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and produced by DreamWorks Animations. Kung Fu Panda is the sequel of the 2008 Kung Fu Panda, in which Po, the panda, and his friends battle with peacock to stop him to conquer China with his powerful new weapon. At the time waging war, Po, the dragon warrior, finds out a perturbing link to his past.
All in all, the movie is a complete entertainment and many critics have given accolades in words for its animation, screenplay, character development, and voice acting. The movie was commercially successful surpassing all the records made by the original film. Kung Fu Panda 2, was the highest grossing animated feature film of the year and awarded with 2011 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 84th Academy Awards.

The Smurfs: The Smurfs is a 3D family entertainment movie, which was based on the comic book series created by the Belgian comic artist Payo. The story of the movie is about the Smurfs when they get lost in New York City. The Smurfs reached the city when the evil wizard Gargamel tried to chase the small blue Smurfs out of their village. In this movie, they fall out from their magical world into New York City and try to find a way to go back to home before Gargamel chase them.
The director Raja Gosnell successfully created magic on the screen by bringing popular characters of 1980 animated TV series. He did full justice to the movie and Jordan Kerner, who was able to buy the rights after five years of negotiation. The Smurfs was released on July 29, 2011, and it became box office hit and managed to earn $35.6 million despite of negative reviews from critics.

Cars 2: Cars 2 is an action comedy animated film, which is produced by Pixar, was released in 2011. This movie is the sequel to the 2006 film, Cars. The story of movie starts when star race car Lightning McQueen and his friend Mater go abroad to take part in world Grand Prix race. However, their path to the championship turned out to be very adventurous as they caught up in an intriguing escapade created by Mater.
The movie was directed by John Lasseter and co-directed by Brad Lewis, and written by Ben Queen. The voice to Lighting Mc Queen was given by Owen Wilson and tow truck Mater was given by Larry the Cable Guy. The film was released on June 24, 2011 and received mixed review from movie critics. However, it ranked no.1 on its opening weekend in the U.S. and Canada and made business of $559,852,396 all over the world.

Rio: Rio the movie is a story about a blue macaw, which was eventually found and raised by a girl called Linda. Blu, the macaw, has been domesticated for fifteen years and leading comfortable life with Linda, the bookshop owner in Minnesota.
The story starts when one day, a Brazilian ornithologist, Tulio, visits Linda and tells her that Blu is the only male of species left on the earth, which requires it to be pair up with female blue macaw called Jewel to save the species. From here, the adventurous journey of Rio begins. The movie Rio, an American film released in 3D, is a musical comedy film directed by Carlos Saldanha and produced by Blue sky Studio. The movie was named after the place Rio de Janeiro and it is place where the story of the movie is plotted.
After the release, the movie received lots of positive reviews and praise from film critics. The movie was praised for its voice acting, screen play, music, visuals, and many more. The movie was a box office hit as it made business of over $484 million worldwide.

Rango: Rango movie is an animated movie, which was released in the year of 2011. The character of Rango displayed in the movie is of an ordinary chameleon that was accidently stuck up in the town of Dirt. The town shown in the movie is a lawless outpost in the Wild West, which is in needs of a new sheriff.
Rango is a very interesting character which is always in lookout for action and adventures. After he met an accident, he stuck up in a town where there is a dire need of water and a sheriff; he takes up the opportunity and selfishly agrees to take both the responsibilities. The voice acting of unnamed pet chameleon was done by Johnny Depp.
The movie Rango is directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Graham King. Rango was a critically and commercially acclaimed movie and won the best animated feature movie award in the 84th Academy Awards.
