21 is the second studio album by British artist Adele. 21 was on 24 January 2011 in Europe, and on 22 February 2011 in North America.
The album was named after the age Adele’s name at the time of its recording. The album has the folk and Motown influences of Adele's first album 19, also named after the artist's age, but also by the American country and southern blues music. Composed after her separation with her ex-boyfriend, the album and explores themes of anger, revenge, heartbreak, self-examination, and forgiveness.
The album 21 debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart spending 13 weeks atop of it and was number one in 24 countries. The album set an all-time record of 26 weeks at number one in New Zealand and 29 weeks in Ireland. 21 entered the 2011 edition of the Guinness World Records. As of December 2011, worldwide sales for 21 have surpassed 16 million copies. On 30 November 2011, the album was nominated six times for the 54th Grammy Awards ceremony to be held in February 2012, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for "Rolling in the Deep", and Album of the Year.

Born This Way is a studio album by American singer Lady Gaga. The album was released on 23 May 2011. The album is following her first albums The Fame (2008) and The Fame Monster (2009). The album was recorded in collaboration with numerous producers, including RedOne, Fernando Garibay, DJ Snake, DJ White Shadow, Jeppe Laursen, Robert John "Mutt" Lange and Clinton Sparks. The album also features artists like E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons and Queen guitarist Brian May.
Born This Way has electro and dance, and pop influences, like her previous creations. However, Born This Way has instrumentals which have not been used on her previous albums. Lady Gaga also explores other original musical genres such as opera, heavy metal, disco and rock and roll. As expected, lyrical topics include sexuality, religion, freedom, feminism, and individualism.
Born This Way was nominated three times for the 54th Grammy Award ceremony, including her third consecutive nomination for Album of the Year.
Born This Way debuted in the top five places in every major market. In the U. S., Born This Way sold over one million copies in its first week, which represents the largest first week album sales in five years. The song "Born This Way" became the fastest-selling single in iTunes history. As of October 2011, worldwide sales of the album have exceeded 8 million copies.

Michael Buble – Christmas:
Christmas is the fifth studio album by Canadian artist Michael Bublé. The album was first released on 21 October 2011 in Ireland, and 25 October 2011 in the United States.
The album is Michael Bublé's second Christmas-themed release. For the album, the singer teamed up with several artists to record duets. He recorded a version of "White Christmas" with well-known country music singer Shania Twain and with Latin singer Thalía.
Christmas debuted third place on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, with first-week sales of 141,000 copies. In its fifth week, the album moved up to the number one spot and held it spot for the following four weeks.
As of 14 December 2011, the album has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

Bruno Mars – Doo Wops & Hooligans:
Doo-Wops & Hooligans is the debut studio album of American artist Bruno Mars, released on 4 October 2010.
The album's title refers to doo-wop music. Mainly a pop album, Doo-Wops and Hooligans has a wide range of influences, including rock, reggae, R&B, soul, and hip hop.
The leading single "Just the Way You Are" was released on 19 July 2010, and took the Billboard Hot 100 first spot for four consecutive weeks. Doo-Wops & Hooligans charted at number three on the Billboard 200 and in the top ten of music charts in Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand. Debuting at number one, Doo-Wops & Hooligans is the first debut album of a foreign artist to reach number one on the German Albums Chart since Lady Gaga's The Fame in January 2010.

Rihanna – Loud:
Loud is the fifth studio album by Barbadian singer Rihanna. Loud was first released on 12 November 2010. Rihanna was executive producer and worked with numerous producers, including StarGate, The Runners, Polow da Don, Tricky Stewart, and Alex da Kid. The album features guest singers, including Drake, Nicki Minaj and Eminem.
The album Loud has pop, dance, electro, R&B and dancehall influences. It also explores rock in "California King Bed" and reggae in the Caribbean inspired "Man Down".
The album debuted at number three on Billboard 200 chart, with first week sales of 207,000 copies, the highest first week sales of her career so far. The album debuted at number one on the Canadian and Swiss Albums Chart. In the UK, the Loud was the fourth best-selling album of 2010, although it was released at the end of the year. Loud was a commercial success internationally, and peaked at number one in Canada, Ireland, Japan, Norway, UK, Scotland and Switzerland, and reached the Top 5 Australia, Denmark, France and Germany.
"S&M" was Rihanna's tenth US number one song, resulting to Rihanna being the youngest singer to accumulate ten number one songs in the shortest time, breaking Mariah Carey's previous record. "Only Girl (In the World)" won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in February 2011. To support the album, Rihanna embarked on her third worldwide concert tour, entitled the Loud Tour. Loud was nominated three times for the 54th Grammy Award ceremony Grammy Awards including a nomination for Album of the Year.
