Corthay: Pierre Corthay is a manufacturer of exclusive luxury shoes and boots. The company is located in Paris. Everything began in 1979, when Pierre Corthay went into apprenticeship through the Compagnons du Devoir Tour de France (a tradesman's association). After his apprenticeship, he was with John Lobb Bootmaker for two years to learn special techniques in luxury shoemaking. Corthay also worked for Berluti for five years. He opened his workshop near the Place Vendôme in Paris in 1990, and it is still in operation today. |
